So you have a great idea, maybe a business you're running or possibly a busy website that needs to be even busier. Getting noticed by your viewers, web surfers and buyers is the main goal for success. There are numerous places on the internet and around town to advertise your name. There are also plenty of paid and free places to market your name on the internet.
The key to getting people to remember you is repetitiveness. When you see an ad on TV or on the internet and you and it continues to pop up everywhere, many people would say, " I'm getting sooooo tired of seeing this!" But the one thing they don't realize is they're going to remember it because it's so repetitive. Display your ad all over the place in a market of your choice. If you're website is the main revenue source for you then google adwords or some other website advertising service is always good to try. Make sure it displays your website for the most popular keywords that go to your website. For example if you run a website for drop shipping products, make sure your main website is displayed as; top electronics warehouse, best electronic products or something that represents what it is. Whether a car parts superstore, camera store, advertising agency, attorneys office, etc, your name, website, phone number needs to show up in as many places as your budget will allow.
Another great way that gets you noticed is website and business networking. Does your business have a website? Then it's time to exchange links with others who have similar services to yours or even companies you've worked with. Do you have an energy drink that you're marketing? Network your drink to small fitness clubs, cafes, sports stores or smaller venues that are willing to accept a new energy drink. I even saw a new energy drink setup in a local gas station recently. Make a list of places that you feel will benefit from your product.
A great advertising niche that people are just starting to discover is internet radio. There are numerous internet radio stations willing to display your product or website link. They also will play your short commercial for your product or website for a small fee. Internet radio is cheaper than normal radio and covers a larger audience. Free web directories are great places to advertise your website or product. Do a search on google or yahoo for free web directories and submit your website or company to these.
There are so many places to consider when advertising and marketing your product but narrow down the keywords that apply to your website, product or business. Make sure that your keywords are directly connected with what your name represents. I will add more advertising tips on my next post.
